Meet the Staff!
My name is Jim Pritchard. I am an 8th grade Science teacher at Southampton Middle School, where I've taught for the past 17 years. Before that, I taught 17 years at various Baltimore County Public Schools. This year is my 29th season of EcoTech Summer Camp! As you may have guessed, I love the outdoors and working with kids, but my favorite is combining those two as I share the outdoors with kids. I can't wait to share some beautiful places with your kids!
Hi, my name is Molly Brogan. This is my first year with EcoTech summer Camp. During the rest of the year, I am a Project Lead the Way teacher at Southampton Middle School in Harford county. I’ve been teaching for 7 years. This summer, I am excited to spend time outdoors with everyone!
Hi! My name is Avery Lane and I am a certified special educator and fun haver! I have had the pleasure of being a part of EcoTech Summer Camp for over 20 years and have loved watching these kiddos grow up, challenge themselves to try new things, and overcome their fears. My full time job is being an IEP chair in Baltimore County Public Schools, but my summers with EcoTech have definitely been the highlight of my career working with children. Can’t wait to meet your kids!
Hey all, my name is Roman Jasso and I can’t wait for camp this year! I’ve worked at EcoTech for three years now, but never once has it felt like work. The opportunities it has given me to learn and strive in nature, gaining resourcefulness outdoors both as a camper and as a counselor has made it feel like a chance to do what I love. I compete in martial arts (Tang Soo Do), dance, and track and field. I love everything physical and I also enjoy being mentally challenged at my school: the Science and Mathematics Academy (SMA) at Aberdeen High School. Nature has always interested me and my time at EcoTech has only enhanced that since I have been here. I enjoy challenging campers and counselors alike, without putting anybody in danger. It’s wonderful to see those who are passionate thriving in this camp, and those who are finding themselves to discover their talents and abilities. Truly it is a privilege to teach, guide, protect, and learn from you all this year, and I can’t wait to meet you!
Hello! My name is Ryan Moran. I am an Eagle Scout and I love hiking, camping, and exploring the outdoors. I recently graduated from Perry Hall High School. I am currently studying Electronic Media and Film at Towson University. This will be my first year with EcoTech Summer Camp. I am excited to meet the campers and have a great summer together!
My name is Ben Silcox. I am a junior at C. Milton Wright High School. I’m studying Engineering. I love 3D printing, flying drones, playing volleyball, and pole vaulting. I’ve been a camper at EcoTech since I was in 5th grade. I love being outside and exploring and can’t wait to teach kids all the cool stuff that we do at EcoTech.
Hi, my name is Ava Mae! I’ve been going to EcoTech for about 7 years and I love it here. After this summer I will be going into my Senior year at Bel Air High School. I’m on the Varsity Cheerleading Team for both the Fall and Winter Seasons at my school and in the spring time I am a photographer/manager for the Varsity’s Boys Baseball Team! I’m looking forward to meeting new kiddos and having an amazing summer!
Hi, my name is Kevin, I just graduated high school from Archbishop Curley high school. I will be attending nursing school at Notre Dame of Maryland University. I love having fun and being outdoors. I can't wait to meet you guys this summer!
